Changing your body and mind for life

Movement and transformational coaching

About Me

Gabrielle Rankin

What are your life changing experiences in relation to your physical and mental health?

Here are my top 3!

  • Discovering myofascial release – getting treatment and training
  • Attending Gary Ward’s Anatomy in Motion training course
  • Reading ‘You are the Placebo’ by Dr Joe Dispenza – doing his meditations and workshops

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them”

Redesigning Physiotherapy

Years of experience treating patients, researching and undertaking continuing professional development (See Below) led me to the following conclusion –

Traditional physiotherapy for musculoskeletal problems

  • helps a lot of people a bit, at least in the short term
  • helps some people a lot, sometimes in the long term
  • does not help some people – including me!

“I was so anxious about my back pain I didn’t realise how tense my whole body was. The myofascial release seemed to magically ease my pain away and I feel far more relaxed.”

“Gabrielle really listened to my problems and I felt like she completely understood what I was talking about ………… strangely, as I talked I suddenly knew what I needed to do!”

5 Principles

Thinking differently, my experience so far has taught me 5 principles.   I have found that these are the key to what helps most people significantly and permanently?

  • Treat the body as a whole
  • Treat the body and mind as a whole
  • Find and treat the causes of the problem
  • We all have our own unique power and wisdom inside us – our body and mind knows what is right for us
  • We can’t ‘fix’ people but we can help them discover how to ‘fix’ themselves

These principles underpin my innovative approach to physiotherapy.

“I want everyone who comes to Redesign physio to have life changing experiences and learn to redesign their body and mind!”
